Way back in October 2000, Nieka and Ken decided to throw their hats in the ring to see if we could get tickets to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake. Seeing the Olympics was something we'd both wanted to do for as long as we could remember. Each of us has a powerful first memory of the Olympics (for Ken it's the "Miracle on Ice," for Nieka it's Scott Hamilton's gold in Sarajevo). A mere 16 months later, armed with oodles of warm clothes and handwarmers, we headed off to Salt Lake. It was a truly amazing experience. We highly recommend that everyone attends the Olympics at least once. We know we'll be back. We hope you'll enjoy seeing this selection of pictures from our trip!
