Back to Prague Part 1....

Charles Bridge The pedestrian-only Charles Bridge is always filled with people -- from dawn until well past midnight. Artists and vendors line the bridge with their wares, and tourists and locals alike stroll, shop, and view the city from over the water. This view looks back toward the castle side.
Charles Bridge Guard Tower
This is the guard tower on the castle side of the Charles Bridge.
Nieka and Ken in front of the Statue of St. Gabriel
This is the statue on the Charles Bridge in front of which I asked Nieka to marry me the night before.
National Museum, Wenceslas Square, Prague
A late-afternoon shot of the National Museum on Wenceslas Square in downtown Prague. It is possible to see the bullet holes and repairs from the 1968 Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia that marked the end of the Prague Spring.
Nieka and Ken at the Palffy Palace Restaurant
We had dinner at the Palffy Palace, one of Prague's finest culinary treasures. I dined there frequently when I lived in the city, and our meal there this evening was delicious. If you're in Prague, I highly recommend that you visit.

On to the Prague castle....
